Burrow FAQs
Everything you might be wondering.
How do I know what size to order?
Go by weight first: S fits mini doxies up to 5 lbs, L fits up to 10 lbs. If your doxie is close to the limit or likes to sprawl, choose L.
This bed is made for miniature dachshunds. Standard dachshunds over 10 lbs won't fit comfortably.
Still unsure? Email hello@doxiewarm.com with your doxie's weight and length and we'll help you pick.
What if it doesn't fit?
Email us at hello@doxiewarm.com and we'll help you sort it out. Full details on exchanges and refunds are in our Return Policy.
Will my doxie actually use it, or just sniff and ignore it?
Most doxies are drawn to it because the arched, enclosed roof feels like the blanket piles they already dig into. Some take a day or two to warm up to anything new. Tossing in a favorite toy or a blanket that smells like you usually helps.
Cave or flat mat — which mode should I use?
Snap it closed for cold nights — the enclosed cave traps body heat the way a burrowed blanket does.
Unsnap it flat for warm afternoons, turning the same bed into an open, breathable mat so your doxie can sprawl instead of overheating.
What's it made of?
A ribbed corduroy shell, a soft plush inner lining and polyester fill. A side button lets you switch between cave and flat-mat mode.
How do I clean it?
Remove the cover, machine wash on a gentle cold cycle and air dry.
